Berkano is founded by Hilde Lise Nordahl, Hege Marie Brown, and Kristin Westreng Aas. Together, we bring decades of experience building, scaling, and supporting companies, from the first spark of an idea to international expansion.
We've built companies ourselves, felt the pressure of limited runway, and made the tough calls. We've shared the highs and lows with other founders and seen how hard it can be to find clear guidance, relevant connections, and resources that actually move the needle.

Hilde Lise Nordahl, CEO
Hilde Lise is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience scaling companies across the Nordics. In addition to holding multiple CEO and board positions in private equity-backed firms, she has for several years advised startups and founders on strategy, growth, and market positioning. She brings deep insight in business development, and the practical challenges of early-stage scaling.
Hege Marie Brown, CTO
Hege is a multidisciplinary product, design and tech leader with 25+ years of experience across industries such as gaming, telecom, healthcare, and media. She previously served as Chief Product Officer at Sukker.no - Norway's longest-standing dating platform - where she led the revitalization of their core matching engine and product experience. Hege brings deep expertise in user insight, prototyping, and turning abstract ideas into usable, scalable technology.
Kristin Westreng Aas, COO
A former C-level executive in both corporate and startup environments, Kristin combines a strong commercial background with hands-on leadership experience in go-to-market strategy, product development, and international business. As a headhunter, author, and keynote speaker with a business background in data and analytics— and consistently ranked among Norway's most influential LinkedIn profiles — she brings unique expertise in matching building and leveraging networking platforms.
